Link to Post Tiny MCE plugin, only for categories…

Hi,

I’m using this plugin to allow users to link directly from the Tiny MCE to other posts and pages in a wordpress site. This works beautifully, but I’d really like to be able to add that kind of backend functionality for the user to be able to add their own links to categories.

It’s a little out of my php depth, so I was wondering if anybody had done or seen anything similar?
