Link to PDF File Not Working

    I’ve searched the forum in depth & have found various instances of this issue, but not any solutions.

    I have a direct link to a PDF file on a static home page, but when you click it it does nothing. A right click and then open in new tab will open the file, though. All other links on the page work fine.

    Link is “Common Errors in the High Jump” on the left. I inspected the live URL on the site & it seems to be fine. I even tried adding a target=_blank to no avail.

    Any solutions? Thanks.

  • You use ajax plugin to load page ?
    Disable your javascript, and test, for me, it is OK.

    I do use AJAX to load the page. I disabled js and was able to get it to load.

    Is there any way to use AJAX page load & get it to work?

    What is your plugin for ajax load page ?

    It’s not a plugin, it’s built into the theme I’m using. I suspect I’ll need to take this issue to them now, or just disable the AJAX load (not a big deal in this instance). Thank you for your help!

    Ok, in some themes, you can mention the css class you want to exclude from ajax.
    If possible, just add a class to your pdf link and exclude it from the ajax.
