Link to Most current post not working

    This website is running a very old custom built theme and has been working fine for years. Ten articles appear in boxes on the Home page here:

    https://www.cookthepart.com/

    When clicking either the article title or the “Read the Full Article”, it goes to the Our-blog page with the full articles. The most recent article appears first and so on.

    I’ve made NO changes to the theme since I took this over from her original web developer several years ago. I simply keep her site updated as far as WordPress and her plugins.

    Today my client reported that when on the Home page, and clicking on the most current article “Yuz(u) Will Luv These, it shows the our-blog page but with all previous posts. In other words, the most recent post is missing.

    Testing this I find that:

    ~ Site works fine on Google Chrome (v48.0.2564.116). However it’s broken in Firefox (v44.0.2) and Safari (v9.0.3).

    Any ideas as to what might cause this?

  • i checked your website and i found something natural

    i think you are looking for a single page in every article when you click any of the articles in the home page.

    and also i checked the dates of the articles and i found out that the “Yuz(u) will Luv These” is the most recent article and it is on the top of the blog page so it is not missing.

    i used both firefox and google chrome by the way..

    I didn’t have the latest versions of Firefox or Safari. As soon as I updated them, this now works fine. Should have thought of that!

    I wasn’t looking for a single page in every article. That’s not how the theme was designed. Clicking any article takes you to the Our blog page with the entire article text, along with all other articles as well.

    In any event, updating browsers cleared it up.
