Link to homepage not working on mobile

  • Hello,

    I do encounter the following issue:
    all the links to my homepage (including inside the menu, breadcrumbs and while clicking on the site logo) are not working on mobile. However, it’s working just fine on desktop.

    For example: if I go to my FAQ page on mobile (https://the-normal-polyglot.com/index.php/faq/) I can’t access to the homepage from there, instead it uses to show me a blank page even after trying to refresh several times (it strangely rarely works)

    This is a very troubleshooting issue for my site and I really hope to be able to fix it as soon as possible. Thank you so much in advance for your help!!

    Tried checking but not getting any issue. It is also working fine on mobile.

    Try to Clear the entire browser / website / cloud cache.
    and Reset scripts via Theme Panel > Scripts & Styles, by disabling all, then enabling back again and saving changes, and check.

    thank you for your reply.
    I have tried but what solved it was actually that I did disable and reinable plugins. The plugin at stake was WP Super Cache, I unticked the recommended but not mandatory parameter that was called something like “Compress pages so as they are served faster to visitors”, and it all started working well.

    I didn’t notice the problem came from this parameter as it wasn’t mentioned as an issue from anyone on the support forum.
