link to google search

    how can i make a link from my blog to the search engine , so if he/she search then no result found by the blog search so it appear like this:
    Other
    Try this search on Google or Yahoo.

    On a second thought – probably it would be even closer to the WP solution if the Google and Yahoo link appears ONLY on the search result page. I guess that needs some sort of “if whatever” stuff, which is beyond my abilities ??

    Thanks for the thread. It prompted me to add the capability to do a site specific search as well as the Web search I already had.

    Now I made another change – added Google’s search form. Off to see if Yahoo has a similar feature…

    If you r using the Google site search box then past the Google code in the search results area and inside the search box for google enter this as the initial text: code<?php echo $S; ?>code this will enter the searched text into the google search box so the user only needs to hit search.
