Link to full post not working on one blog, works on second blog

  • I am running two blogs from my website https://thestitchersmuse.com – one is the shop’s blog, one is personal. The personal one works fine. the shop one worked fine until I posted a new post, and since then the links to any of the full posts do not work. I have searched the forums but have not found an answer. If I change themes, the full post shows on the home page, but the links still go to a 404 error. Any help would be appreciated!

  • try this: it worked for me the other day when I was having the same problem.
    Go to Settings/Permalinks and reset it to default. (Maybe once you’ve done that you can go back and change it to whatever you want) No, I don’t know why it gets out of kilter.

    please post a direct link to a post which gets the 404

    – I can’t reproduce the problem, the post links of the shop blog (like the ‘new theme…’ link) work ok and go to the full single post.

    I have no idea why, but suddenly all is working as it should. I swear I did not change anything, though I did look around inside the database.
