• Hi John, great plugin – many thanks!

I’d like to be able to include FAQ URLs in support emails that link to a particular FAQ and also open and show the answer automatically (without the user having to click).

Here’s an example of what I’d like to achieve (it doesn’t use your plugin and isn’t my site):
    https://www.pdfindexgenerator.com/faqs.php?q=program_error_in_mac_mountain_lion

With your plugin I can link to a particular FAQ by adding the FAQ id to the URL as a fragment identifier (using the #faq syntax). What I need help with is how to also open and show the answer. This capability doesn’t appear to be built in to present version and I’m guessing it might require some extra JavaScript? Note that I have all of the FAQs set up to open in the closed state.

    Thanks in advance!

    Hi Andy,

Thanks for the kind words. You are correct in that adding such functionality would require some additional javascript that isn’t in place. That is a feature I will look to add to the plugin. You can follow development here: https://github.com/j-gardner/arconix-faq/issues/9 if you’d like

    Hi John,
Many thanks for adding the accordion option, which is hopefully a step towards adding this feature too. I hope so.
    Thanks again!
    Andy

I’d love to see this as well if you get a chance ??
