    Hello,

I am using your plugin, and I like it. Your https://complianz.io/cookie-policy page is in my page linked in.
In Semrush SEO tool I recieved a message: “links to external pages or resources returned a 403 HTTP status code”.
    Could you please checke it?
    Thank you very much.
    Maria

    Hi @mareszke,

Could you post the URL where this URL is located? The 403 error suggests is available, but forbidden. As this is a public URL, and available. I’m curious where the URL is.

    regards Aert

I don’t see any hyperlinks resulting in a 403 page on the cookie policy. If you have any more info on what link is causing this error, we can take a look.

    Hello,

here are my links: https://bofoxdesign.com/de/datenschutzerklarung/ and https://bofoxdesign.com/bofoxdesign-adatavedelmi-nyilatkozata/. You can find your link under: Verwendung von Cookies in german version of my site, and the same place on the hungarian version, under K?z?sségi adatkezelés.

I can not send you unfortunatelly screenshot about semrush site audit, but I copy the issue description and posibility how to solve it:

    ABOUT THIS ISSUE
This issue is triggered if a crawler gets a 403 code when trying to access an external webpage or resource via a link on your site. A 403 HTTP status code is returned if a user is not allowed to access the resource for some reason. In the case of crawlers, this usually means that a crawler is being blocked from accessing content at the server level.

    HOW TO FIX IT
Check that the page is available to browsers and search engines. To do this, follow a link in your browser and check the Google Search Console data.
    – If a page or resource is not available, contact the owner of the external website to restore deleted content or change the link on your page
    – If a page is available but our bot is blocked from accessing it, you can ask the external website owner to unblock the page, so we can check all resources correctly. You can also hide this issue from your list.

Is not a big problem, but if is a posibility to solve it (for both of us, I guess), could be nice.

    Best regards, Maria

    Hi @mareszke,

As the page is available, and I can’t see any issues, the only thing I can think of is the 301 redirect to the correct page https://complianz.io/legal/cookie-policy/ is not followed correctly.

Maybe you can try adding; https://complianz.io/legal/cookie-policy/ instead of https://complianz.io/cookie-policy/

Thanks a lot for the quick reply. Have a nice day. Maria
