Don’t know if we’re talking about the same thing here, but all my search results give me a No Results Found result starting max an hour ago.

I mean: when I try to add a link to a word or sentence inside a post, there’s a window where you can choose the link as you write. Now, if you are not an administrator, you get “Not results found” even if there are links that match.

    Hello PetraP,

    Hey Paul,

I’m really sorry to hear this! Any chance you could give me the link to the blog in question, so I could have a closer look? Also, a screenshot of your settings would be more than welcome.

    Take care,

    Petra

Please remove after seeing the link. Also the subdomain is the website in question.

    Regards,

    Paul

    Hey Paul,

first of all, thanks for the link! And I completely understand that not everyone is comfortable with sharing links/info here, so to avoid this in the future, please send links and other sensitive content to our email: support[at]zemanta[dot]com.
Also, I’m really sorry to say this, but only moderators can delete posts – I don’t have the option to remove your post, but I think you can edit it and delete the link yourself?
As for the search issue – could you please give me a specific keyword you searched for and didn’t get any results? For example, I searched for keyword “design” and search worked for me.

    Best,
    Petra

Not sure which link you were at. Please try shop.solutionsbiz.ca. fx7 for example. but as soon as I deactivate the plugin, it works fine.

    Regards,

    Paul

sorry but I have to turn off the plugin. I need the search to work. Right now I am using the wordpress search but your plugin is pretty amazing for our shop!

Hope you can help me get it back up and running. I dont knw if it helps, but when I test the search from your settings page, it works. Just not from the website.

    Regards,

    Paul

    Hey Paul,
thanks for getting back to me!

Do you by any chance have WooCommerce plugin installed? Have you updated it recently? If you did, this could be the reason our plugin stopped working as there are some compatibility issues between these two plugins.

    Take care,
    Petra

    Hey Petra!

This must be it. I did update WooCommerce recently. Are these compatibility issues regular or just due to the latest update?

    Regards,

    Paul

    Hey Petra,

I just checked and realized that I never did the update for WooCommerce. It was during work hours and did not want to put the store in maintenance mode. So right now I am running WC 2.1.5, the same version that I was running when it was working.

    Please help.

    Paul

    Hello Petra,

The option Search Every Custom Field (metadata) is the one causing the issue. I unchecked everything and added each option and tested. Hope it helps!

    Regards,

    Paul

    Hey Paul,

thanks for the update, truly appreciate it and I am really happy to hear you found a way around the problem! I will try to investigate this further and I will update you as soon as I find anything ??

And please do let me know if you have any more questions or if you need any kind of assistance —?I’ll do my best to help you out!

Take care & have a nice day!

    Best,
    Petra
