  • I’m not sure what your “goal” is, but there are a couple of plugins which will allow you to create a “site map” or “site tree”, either of which with a small amount of modification to the HTML layout will achieve the same thing as a “link” to the entire archive.

And what when you’ll have 7,000 posts?
(this is not a joke, I just helped to move a blog that had over that number…) Imagine waiting for that webpage to appear in the browser ??

moshu — speaking of moving blogs, I’m working with some folks that run a VERY popular blog site (typepad/moveable type …ick), are you familiar with the process of migrating typepad/moveable type to wordpress ?

I’ve done a small bit for them so far as a “demo” in the sandbox area of my site, and have read all of the relevant info in the codex, etc, but I was just wondering if you might have any tips, etc, especially when it comes to migrating the users, profiles, etc.

    thanks…chris

Of course I do not want ALL the post to load on a single page. I was thinking mor along the lines of limiting the number of posts and having ‘prev’ and ‘next’ links.

@anathema, you have no idea how many people think seriously about showing all the posts ??

@chris (chradil), no, I’ve moved that from blogger and, unfortunately, I don’t have any experience with typepad/MT.
