Link to editable Adobe Acrobat PDFs

  • I inserted a link on a page that points to an editable PDF form created in Adobe Acrobat and checked the box to open in a new window. When the user clicks on the link they get a 404 File or directory not found.

    I put the same PDF but in an uneditable version in the same folder as the editable one and created a link on the same page as the editable one. The uneditable one opens without issue. It seems that the path to the editable PDF is not the issue.

    Can you tell me what is wrong or what I am not doing correctly?

  • Can you share the URLs for the regular PDF and the editable PDF, (and the page they are linked from)?
