    Hello,

    I’ve been using Mail Poet for a while now with Starter Free Plan, I recently got “paused” because number of subscribers overtake the 1000 limit. I removed some unactive subscribers to get back under the 1000 limit, but I had another issue about the API Key, stating the key was not valid.

    When I looked at my account subscription I notice there were not any subscription present. So I created a new free subscription and activated it. This went well, but I had an error message stating my MailPoet Premium Plugin was not compatible with the Free Plugin.

    I attempted to update the Premium plugin from WP plugin management page, but it failed. I’ve seen in documentation the “Settings > Key activation” was supposed to provide a download link. So I deactivated and uninstalled the old Premium Plugin, expecting the download link to allow me to download the new premium plugin but the button is not visible on my “Setting > Key Activation” page.

    When I check page source on this setting page, I can see the following information (I stared potential sensitive information):

      // Premium status
      var mailpoet_current_wp_user_email = '*********\u0040g****l.com';
      var mailpoet_premium_link = "https:\/\/www.c*******e.org\************?page=mailpoet-upgrade";
      var mailpoet_premium_plugin_installed = false;
      var mailpoet_premium_active = false;
      var mailpoet_premium_plugin_download_url = null;
      var mailpoet_premium_plugin_activation_url = "https:\/\/www.c*******e.org\***************?action=activate&plugin=mailpoet-premium%2Fmailpoet-premium.php&_wpnonce=*********";
      var mailpoet_has_valid_api_key = true;
      var mailpoet_has_valid_premium_key = false;
      var mailpoet_has_premium_support = false;
      var has_mss_key_specified = true;
      var mailpoet_mss_key_invalid = false;
      var mailpoet_mss_key_pending_approval = '';
      var mailpoet_mss_active = true;
      var mailpoet_plugin_partial_key = '**************';
      var mailpoet_subscribers_count = 941;
      var mailpoet_subscribers_counts_cache_created_at = "2023-02-19T12:28:55+0000";
      var mailpoet_subscribers_limit = 1000;
      var mailpoet_subscribers_limit_reached = false;
      var mailpoet_email_volume_limit = 0;
      var mailpoet_email_volume_limit_reached = false;
      var mailpoet_cdn_url = "https:\/\/ps.w.org\/mailpoet\/assets\/";
      var mailpoet_tags = [];

          var mailpoet_free_premium_subscribers_limit = 1000;

    I guess having “mailpoet_premium_plugin_download_url = null” might be the reason I do not get the download button displayed. But it’s just a supposition.

    I’m using WP 6.1.1, could you help me to fix this please or provide another mean to download the MailPoet Premium Plugin?

    Thank you for reading.

    Hey there!

    Thanks for contacting MailPoet, happy to help.

    The MailPoet free subscription would not include access to MailPoet. The plan you are on would not grant access to download the plugin or the features that are a part of it.

    Hi there @cpietquin,

    We haven’t heard back from you in a while, so I’m going to mark this as resolved – we’ll be here if and/or when you are ready to continue.
