Link to Custom URL instead of portfolio item

  • Hi there, I would like to know, if it’s possible to directly link to external URLs instead of portfolio items.

    E.g. a web agency may in some cases link to a project description on their own page (portfolio item), but in other cases link directly to a clients project from the portfolio grid.

    Is this possible? Thx for your answer in advance

    Okay, I found out the solution myself. Simply choose images as the content source and then you can add a custom link to each image. Great stuff. ??

    I had been using custom portfolio url to get portfolio images to link to one of my webpages on my website. They became out of date, so I updated the link to the new url of my website. Everything went well, and when I clicked on a portfolio image, my website page came up. However, I then created a new batch of portfolio images and added links in the custom portfolio urls. And instead of going to the correct url when clicking on the portfolio images, the default of the image came up. I can’t figure out why the custom portfolio url won’t work on my new portfolio items. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
