I’m confused. If the API is useless without the extension, why is it active in the core plugin?

In the plugin description it’s not clear either that you need an extra extension to use the API.

The API isn’t useless, it’s available for any developer to integrate with.

If you want our solution you can use the API connector which includes contact form 7 (external site) to your CRM.

Alternatively you can program it yourself using the API included.
