Link to anchor from different page

    Howdy,

    Started working with Neve recently, love it! Have a question though, my main page contains some anchors, but also some permalinks that redirect to different pages within the website. The primary menu contains the links to the anchors, but as soon as I’m on a secondary page, the anchor stops working. This is because the anchor(link) is added to the permalink, which creates a non-existing link.

    Is there any way to resolve this? So that clicking on the menu items makes it go back to the main page?

  • Hi,

    The solution is to change the anchor to the full URL including the anchor. Don’t worry, if you’re on the home page the site will not be reloaded as the browser will handle “skipping” to the section.

    Thanks a bunch! I tried something similar before, but apparently I didn’t use the correct link. Got it working now.

    This is what I do with the full url. Only minor thing is possibly having multiple active link colors in your menus if you use different colors when they’re active (I just made color the same unless hovered)
