Link to about page is somehow giving 404 errrors everywhere

    Yesterday I discovered through Google Webmaster Tools that the number of 404 errors for my site has increased x 10 since mid November.
    Upon further investigation I discovered that almost all the broken links look like this:

    postname/%E2%80%9Chttps://wonderfulwanderings.com/about/%E2%80%9D
    or
    pagename/%E2%80%9Chttps://wonderfulwanderings.com/about/%E2%80%9D

    Because this error seems to occur on all of my pages and posts, I think it has to do with the link to my about page that I have in my sidebar.
    However, that link works just fine.

    If anyone could help me with how to solve this, I’d really appreciate it.

    That’s the thing, there’s no problem on the website, but according to Google Webmaster Tools the link that you see in my sidebar underneath my picture that says “Want to know more” isn’t working.
    So I have more than 300 404 errors in Google Webmaster Tools because that link would supposedly not work, while it works just fine
