• I think i found a feature I had not been aware of and maybe you can explain it and I can start to use PL more effectively? I have the enterprise version.

I was making a new pretty link. I primary use PL just for link tracking. I entered the target, which is an affiliate link (https://changelly.com/?from=btc&to=eth&amount=0.1&ref_id=XxCG5EOmRynbj3Wi)

I usually use the link title as a description of what the PL is for. I realize now it can be used for an seo title and actually generate traffic independently of the blog post.

I think i saved the link before entering anything into the link title space and I was amazed that happended, but Im not sure how it did it or how to reproduce it the following link title auto populated (Cryptocurrency Exchange – Crypto & Altcoin Swap Platform with Lowest Fees)

I have recently installed a plugin that connects me to Open AI and I have no idea if this has anything to do with what happened? Just FYI.

Anyway, if autopopulating a link title is a feature that I could use intentionally, then I would surely start using it. Can you please clarify? I will retitile many of my links, because I didnt realize how valuable the link title can be. I would like to upload an image of what I am describing, but dont see how to do so?

    Thanks, Robert

does the text I enter for the pretty link have anything to do with this? i doubt it. I had entered (changellypostpage) as the pretty link. Just dont know how to reproduce the auto population/naming of the link title, based on the target url, which is apperently what happened. Please explain!

    Hi @peacepilgrim,

Thank you for reaching out. This is a feature built in to Pretty Links. If you omit the title of the pretty link when it’s being created, then we’ll attempt to automatically fill it out by accessing the target URL you provided for the pretty link and looking at its <title> tag. If the <title> tag is present, then we’ll use that as the link’s title.

    I hope this helps!

    Kind regards,
