Is there a way to insert a “link” title? Not the title of the post but a title attribute on an anchor element to provide additional text describing a link.

    Like this:

a href title=”Buy CBD New York” />New York

The title=”Buy CBD New York” is what I am looking for.

This is not supported. It could be implemented but we would have to decide where the plugin is going to pull titles from because they can (or should) be different for each post.

Maybe from a custom field that a user would have to add to each post?

To begin with, you could pull it from the title of the post. Then you could add options to use the excerpt of a post, the tag, or the category of the post.

Using the title, i.e. duplicating the anchor element’s text is contrary to HTML specs so I would avoid that. Why would you want the title to be the same as the link’s text? Does it add anything?
