• The “Link this post to its children” check box seems to be unchecking itself on posts. When we recheck and update the post, it will still display as unchecked.

The general workflow process is writers save a draft of their stories before the editor edits and publishes. Writers themselves cannot see the broadcast option. What the editors are noticing is posts in draft mode require that the box be checked before broadcasting, but when the post is updated it doesn’t save the selection so the post will show as if it were not checked after it’s been broadcasted. This is fairly confusing as we’re not sure if the parent post is or isn’t linked to the child post.

Running a multi-site on 4.01 – subdomain child sites post to the main site. Plugin was updated to the latest version over the weekend.

Hm. Mind switching on Broadcast debug mode and showing me the debug dump of when the semi-linked post is being broadcasted?
