    Hi,
i try to use your plugin for our event location.

Is it possible to import the event details like now but disable the “details page” after import and straight link back to the Facebook Eventpage?
So you can see the event at the WordPress page at the landing site, but if you click on the titel/image you get back linked to the Facebook page

    Regards ??

    Hello @xenics,

Thanks for reaching out to us.

Yes, you can change link direct to Facebook events. Our plugin’s event grid template is overridable from the theme you can copy template file to your theme and make desired changes.

After copy template, you can change event link here(https://github.com/xylusthemes/import-facebook-events/blob/master/templates/ife-archive-content.php#L34) on line number 34 to facebook event.

Hope this will be helpful to you.

    Thanks,

    Hello @xenics,

You can put https://gist.github.com/iamdharmesh/f6426dfb97e43f82540df06c4f9efcc5 this file into your theme’s folder.

    It will accomplish your goal.

    Thanks.

    Hi,
thats excactly what im lookiong for.
    Thank you so much ??

Ionly have changed the line 38 to this for “Open in a new Tab”
    <a href="<?php echo esc_url( $event_link ) ?>" target="_blank">

Finally we test the free Version of it and thinking about buying after some weeks for the auto-import features.

Thank for your fast and free support.

PS: It should be a available Option in the feature Releases ??

Some little Problem i have found, if i am only a Moderator not an admin of the FB page, but create the FB App, i need to accept the invitation for every event to import it, or i will get the error Message:

We are not able to access Facebook event: 03893224**233232. Possible reasons: – App Credentials are wrong – Facebook event is not public or some restrictions are there like age, country etc.

    Kind Regards from Germany
