Link target attribute doesnt works on link at Description field

    hi, im using nextgen gallery with this shortode:
    [ngg src=”galleries” ids=”30″ display=”basic_thumbnail” override_thumbnail_settings=”1″ number_of_columns=”5″ thumbnail_width=”316″ thumbnail_height=”412″ display_view=”caption-view.php”]
    So, i have small text on “Alt/title text” and a text caption below thumbnail with link, on ‘description’ field.
    I put this on “Description” field:
    <a href="https://...file2020.pdf" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Relatório 2020</a>
    When i save this options, the part “target=”_blank”” always disappears.
    How can i fix this? I? need target blank, to open pdf files in blank tabs of browser.

    Hi, I am glad to help.

    Unfortunately there is no option to make this work as there are certain html the plugin strips. In order to change this it would require modifying core files which is out of our support scope.
