link-style directory integration – possible?

  • What I’m hoping is to integrate a yahoo-style link directory of blog resources (software, hosts, how-to sites, etc.), but after checking wp-plugins.net and several others I don’t kknow if this is possible ..and if so, how I would achieve it.

    Tips, hacks and referrals to open-source apps are appreciated.

  • Manually code it. If you want to become a link farm, then there are a lot of resources on the net that will help you.

    You can use the Link Manager feature in WordPress or create a “Page” and manually code it.

    I’m also looking for a Yahoo-Style Directory Plugin. If none is available, I would like to attempt writing one.

    Nevertheless, before I start, please let me know if it would be possible, and if all required info is available in the WP DB to write such a beast?
