• I am new to word press and I have brought a template which I have been trying to get up together, However I have looked at the site online and have seen that for some reason there is a link to someone else’s site – online-casino.blog.ca.

when I look at the source code online it shows up like <p align="left"><a href="https://online-casino.blog.ca">https://online-casino.blog.ca</a></p>
When I log into WP it also vanishes off my screen?

I have spend quite a few hours trying to find it in the theme-editor in appearance of the site (both parent and child) but with no luck.

Can anyone please tell me where to find this code is so I can remove it and how to stop any “toe rag” from doing it again in the future.

Thanks for any help with this one
    Marcus
ps my site is https://www.urbancoutureinvites.com/ if you need to look

  • It’s strange that your site shows up clean on Securi –

But there’s certainly that link visible. Try switching to the twentytwelve theme and deactivating your plugins to see if that removed that code.

That theme is from a non-GPL vendor – so I would advise against using it regardless, as it’s not in keeping with WP policy or philosophy.

Hi thanks for your reply Im not to sure that I understand about the non-GPL vendor? it was brought from template monster for WP and I have the licence to use it? I will try doing the recommended switch and see if that works.

    Thanks again
    Marcus
