link products without linked by attribute

    We are sorry but you can’t do that. Our linked variations must be created by the attribute of variations as the description

    Ok thanks. What do you advise if i want to link products like this? What kind of attribute to create?

    The workaround for this could be:
    1. Create attribute and name it Variant
    2. Define taxonomie for attribute Variant: Vatiant1, Variant2, Variant3
    3. Set attribute for your 3 products but each with different value. First with Variant1 value, second with Variand2 and last with Variant3. For each product set “Is Visible” to false for attribute Variant (this attribute will not be visible on front page)
    4. For each product assign the same tag name, e.g My product
    5. Go to Linked Variation->Add New
    6. Set title: My Product
    7. In configuration choose “Tag” and fill with your tag name e.g. My product
    8. From the list of attribute select Variant attribute and check “Show image” option
    9. Publish
