Link Only Opening in New Tab

    Hi,

    I downloaded your plugin but when I enter the short code onto one of my pages and click the link, it opens the linked website in a new window…

    I am using the divi child theme and have reverted to twenty fifteen to asses whether or not it is an issue with changed php but it also didn’t work then.

    I would really love the plugin to work as it would enhance my site greatly,

    Please give me suggestions as to what I can do to make the links open in the pop up window as opposed to a new window.

    please link to a page on your site where I can see this issue.

    You have already tried with a default theme, that’s a good first troubleshooting step. a good next troubleshooting step would be to temporarily deactivate all other plugins to check for a possible plugin conflict.

    I also de activated all plugins temporarily to see if that would fix it, but no such luck.

    Maybe has to do with the Divi Theme?

    I can’t see the page as the site is in maintenance mode.

    As you have said tgat the issue still occurs when the theme is switched to twenty fifteen, the indication is that something other than the divi theme is the cause.

    i apologise… the issue was that I was testing it on full screen mode..

    your plugin works.

    Is there a lightbos integration so that it will work on full screen mode

    Glad it is working for you. You would need a different plugin for a lightbox – alligator popup was created to just open a link in new browser window.
