Link not working – still enlarges image

    Hi, I am still learning my way around my new website but I have downloaded this plugin and it doesnt seem to work. Is it something to do with version 4.8.2?

    I have ensured that the image has its own custom url however when I publish the page and click on an image in the gallery it just enlarges the image.

    Is there something I am missing?

    Happy to upload a screenshot of my settings if this helps.

    Hi. Which images are you expecting to see open to a new page? I wasn’t quite sure what images in your home page are shown as a gallery?

    Hi,

    Sorry I posted the wrong link.

    I want to create a ‘shop the look’ page (this is the link https://www.thebecbrief.com/shop-my-style/ ) where I can post a picture of what I have and then link it to the webpage where you can buy it from.

    Your site is using a special plugin for that gallery and not the standard wordpress gallery. Unfortunately we only support the standard gallery at this time. This is why the links aren’t being supported. You could disable the plugin you are using and change to the basic wordpress gallery but may then have to play with the formatting etc to get the look you desire.

    Ok thank you. I’ll look into it.

    If you′re using Jetpack, you′ll have to switch off “Speed up images and photos” in the Jetpack settings. Then, it′ll work fine!
