Link not tracked on pages other than landing page

Once the affiliate link is clicked, the URL is https://mysite.com/wp/?wpam_id=1. But, as the user selects the product and moves to any other page on the website, the part of the URL which contains the affiliate id gets removed (?wpam_id=1). For ex- It becomes https://mysite.com/wp/shop instead of https://mysite.com/wp/shop/?wpam_id=1. This does not allow tracking of purchases. How can I correct this?
