Well, thank you for this great plugin.

Anyway. In my eyes, if you place a text next to the checkbox within a form, you need to link the word “privacy” with your privacy site.

    Is this possible?

  • Thanks for the kinds words.

You’re able to add a privacy policy page to the checkboxes (except Contact Form 7 due to their plugin restrictions) by selecting a privacy policy page at the ‘Settings’ tab. After that you can add the following placeholder to your checkbox texts: %privacy_policy%

The placeholder will be replaced with the link to the privacy policy page you selected.

Let me know if you need any further assistance.

Doesn’t work for me either. As soon as I insert the placeholder %privacy_policy% the fallback is displayed. Means the text appears in English and without a link.

Are you trying to add the placeholder to your Contact Form 7 forms? As this is not possible due to plugin restrictions by Contact Form 7. We can’t do anything about it, since we rely on the possibilities of these external plugins. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Hi, Contact Form 7 has its own acceptance checkbox and you can place a link next to it. It looks like this in my CF7 form: [acceptance acceptance-592] Akkoord met het Privacy Statement [/acceptance]
