So this works great, but the list I have is 50 long, and looks bad on the page. I was looking for a shortcode feature to break at x, but didn’t see it. Did I miss it?

If not, any suggestions on an other plugin to use in co-op to make multiple columns of links when needed?

You can turn on the pagination feature, found under the Common section of Library Configuration if I remember correctly (unable to test to be sure at the moment).

Let me now if this helps and please consider donating to support this plugin’s development.

Indeed it does, thank you. Unfortunately for us, this won’t work.. at least how we’d like. We have (in our case) only a limited number of links. There are too many for a long thin list, leaving 50% of the page empty, and while the pagination solves the long page issue, it still leaves it 50% blank. I was hoping it had a feature to make (example) 1-4 columns from the output, split after x items. So for us, we’d say 2 columns, split at 25. But, I do appreciate what you have done.

Actually, you can do just about anything with Link Library. Just requires to know a bit of HTML. If you look under the Advanced section of library configuration, you will see that it shows the code to be displayed before and after items. There are also some entries in the table that are called intermittent, meaning they will only be displayer every X entries. So you could create a table layout, have <tr> tags come out every 2 links, and have <td> tags come out every link.

Let me know if this makes sense to you and if you need additional help to try this out.

There’s a lot of options for this plugin that have appeared over its 15+ year lifespan. Let me know if you run into any issues with this and please consider donating if this becomes a part of the site you’re working on.
