    Hello I have this message with my Yoast problems:You’re linking to another page with the words you want this page to rank for.

    It tells me I link to another side, but I shouldn’t do that because it could worsen my ranking. But I don’t even link to another page, I use this link, like that: If a person clicks on it they come to a certain section on my page. So I link on the same page. Should I ignore this message?

    If you are linking within the same page that jumps on the same page but different section and you are seeing an alert in Yoast SEO plugin that says “you are linking another page with the same focus keyphrase”, it would be a false positive which you can safely ignore.
