• Hi,

I have set “Series” for the “Post Hierarchy” under the “Breadcrumb NavXT Settings” and it works well when the post is part of a series.

Although, for posts that are not part of a series I would like to show the posts page link in the breadcrumb trail.

Is there a way of doing it? A filter or something?

    Thanks,

    -LH

Can you elaborate on what you are looking for when you wrote “I would like to show the posts page link in the breadcrumb trail”? If you are talking about the root page/archive page for the post post type, that is controlled by the “Blog Breadcrumb” setting (and should be uniformly applied to all breadcrumb trails for posts of the post post type).

    Hi,

yes, that is what I meant.
I already discovered though that it was not working because I had not specified the posts page under “Reading Setting” of WordPress. Once I specified it the problem was solved.

However there is still something missing on my trail. My permalinks are set up like this:

    mydomain.com.br/posts/%category%/%postname%

When viewing a single post the breadcrumb skips the category, displaying like this:

home >> posts >> series name >> post name

    instead of:

home >> posts >> category >> series name >> post name

Is there a way of including the category on the trail?

    Thanks again,

    -LH
