Link in short bio

I would like to add a Read More link to the short bio that links to the full bio. It’s not always obvious to click the person’s name to reach the full bio.

Each time I manually type in a hyperlink it’s stripped out upon saving.

In Excerpt Link not allow you can style the font.
If you want you can edit code add a read more link button.

Hi. It appears there is a need for this to work. No plugins I can find have the ability to allow HTML or Rich Text Editor for the WP user Bio field.

Also, this code does not work in theme’s functions.php file.
