Link in Image Description Not Working in Portfolio

    I’ve added a link to the descriptions of several of my images in WordPress. I then added those images to a portfolio entry. When I view the portfolio, the link shows up on top of the image. But when I try to click on the link, nothing happens. Interestingly, if I’m actively using the WordPress Customizer, the link works.

    Also, if I have Photography Portfolio set to open Photoswipe, the link works in the pop-up window but still not in the initial portfolio itself. Do you know what is causing the link to not be followed when clicked and how to fix the problem? Thank you.
