link in a picture (in Posts) to embed a (Vimeo) video

Hi everyone,
I hope someone can help me out (in Fifteen with a child theme, WP version 4.1.1).
In the posts i like to embedd a video-clip which pops up behind a picture (DSCN1255-Lens-intro2-1000.jpg) i put in the post. The videoclip is on Vimeo (password: intro-ftm).
I know how to put the link in it. No problem ?? .
Like this:

But the link opens the Vimeo page and i like the video shows up only in the window of the picture (WxH: 600×337 in this case; in other cases an other picture format fitting the aspect ratio of the video).
– I also checked the Video-Format radiobutton in the Edit Post.
– Alas I’m still working on a local server so the site is not on line.
How can I arrange it so that the video is only displayed in the picure window?
