• I have Link Harvest installed, but when I try toharvest links for the first time I get the following error:

The link harvest failed, make sure you have harvesting enabled in your options.

I have rechecked, harvesting IS enabled in options.

    I have prototype.js and wp-ajax-js.php installed at /wp-includes/js/

    I am running WordPress 2.04

    Any ideas? Thanks.

  • Link Harvest shouldn’t require it, but maybe change an option (any one, doesn’t matter) and then press the Update Link Harvest Settings button. If you need to change the setting back after doing that you can. This may jump start the process.

I can’t promise that will work, but give it a shot.

I am getting the same error:

The link harvest failed, make sure you have harvesting enabled in your options.

I have tried several configurations of the options and still get about 60 – 65 posts into the harvesting when it gives that error. Harvesting is enabled.

I upgraded to the latest version of WP, 2.1.1 and tried again with the same result.

This seems like it would be a great feature, so I’m pretty bummed that it isn’t working for me.

    Suggestions?
