Link from a page to a post

  • I can see how to include an external link in a page but how do I include a link to a post or another page i.e. an internal link.

    This seems such an obvious question. I suspect I am missing some basic point.

  • When you write a Page or Post –

    type in what ever you want for the description of what you want to send visitors to –

    then go find where you want them to go to ( I use a new tab in my browser – makes it MUCH easier)- then copy the address of the page or post outside link – go back to original Page or Post – highlight the description – and click on the chain link icon on the top row and paste the address you want to send visitors to – choose any options (open is same or different window) and click on insert – and you be done –

    internal and external links are put in a Page or Post the same way – as long as you can visit an URL / Page etc. it can be inserted.
