worked for me
It does generate the link as DearHive stated, but the link is not working. If i put it in the address bar, i get a wordpress page that states that the link has moved o has been removed.
Hi,
The link will certainly not work if the page is not there.
Also the related flipbook needs to be there too.https://dearflip.com/pdf-embed-flipbook-example/#flipbook-wp-header-flipbook/3/
Or example will not be removed which you can refer to.Best Regards,
DearHiveI meant this:
https://www.smollpiume.it/volantino-smoll/
If i click on share, i get
https://www.smollpiume.it/volantino-smoll/dearflip-df_1971/1/
that does not work
but, if i close the mini windows and click schare again, i get:
https://www.smollpiume.it/volantino-smoll/dearflip-df_1971/1/dearflip-df_1971/1/
and i get the last part added every time i close and reopen the share windowHi,
There is some issue with your site code.
Please note that there is supposed to be a hash in the URL generated.
Without hash it will be a different page. Here is an example:
https://www.smollpiume.it/volantino-smoll/#test/2
This will auto change to
https://www.smollpiume.it/volantino-smoll/test/2The hash is removed!!
Not sure what is causing that, but with such change sin site our generated URL will be currented too,Best Regards,
DearHiveI’m using latest WordPress, with some plugins, but from what i see, is your plugin that generates the link with the missing #
If i add it by hand, it works.I dont really know where to start searching for the problem.
The page link (https://www.smollpiume.it/volantino-smoll/) is a standard WP page. I don’t think the # has something to do with wordpress.I also tried to load the page directly with https://www.smollpiume.it/volantino-smoll/#
But the share button generated url is still missing the #-

Hi,
I don’t think the # has something to do with WordPress.
Wordpress certainly doesn’t have the problem, else our sites and demo would also behave similarly.
They are working fine.
https://dearflip.com/pdf-embed-flipbook-example/#flipbook-wp-header-flipbook/3/The problem is with some of the plugins/theme themselves or due to another plugin and our conflict. Not sure so we can suggest disabling such suspected plugins/theme temporarily and check if the problem exists.
If you disable our plugin we are certain that the issue will still exist. Hash will be removed. That will rule out the problem source from our plugin.
We suspect the problem is from the theme – smoll .
Try switching to another theme like twenty twenty one – any WordPress default theme – any the problem should be gone.We have found a source thus we suspect the theme:
h.replaceState = function(t, n, r, i) { if (h.getHashByUrl(r) && h.emulated.pushState) throw new Error("History.js does not support states with fragement-identifiers (hashes/anchors)."); if (i !== !1 && h.busy()) return h.pushQueue({ scope: h, callback: h.replaceState, args: arguments, queue: i }), !1; h.busy(!0); var s = h.createStateObject(t, n, r); return h.isLastSavedState(s) ? h.busy(!1) : (h.storeState(s), h.expectedStateId = s.id, p.replaceState(s.id, s.title, s.url), h.Adapter.trigger(e, "popstate")), !0 }
https://www.smollpiume.it/wp-content/themes/smoll/assets/js/vendors/jquery.history.js
That code removes the hash from the URL.
We believe changing hash like that is not an good idea, because many other plugins will be relying on it.Best Regards,
DearHiveMany thanks for your help. I’ll contact the developer that made the theme, for furter investigation.
Thanks again.
