Link for making comments missing on blogpage

    Hi,
    I would like a comment link with or without a comment counter to show under each post on the main blogpage (make a comment, 1 comment, 2 comments). I would like the visitors to see that they can comment on post when they are on the main blogpage. I use twenty seventeen. Please help?
