Link for archives of current category and Breadcrumb (navigation)

Hello,
I have two problems I’ve been trying to find a solution for since friday.

I’m working on a website that is structured with mix of pages and categories/posts in the navigation.

I need to have link to current category’s archives on the top of each category page, but so far I couldn’t find how to add it automaticly.

The secon problem I’m having is that I need breadcrumb navigation in the middle content block so the users know where in the site they are, but since I’m having custom navigation mixed of pages and categories and posts, this is quite a problem.
Is there any breadcrumb solution based on custom menus that highlights the curent page?
