link/email/invitation for just about 20 members to signup

    Is there a way to send out a personalized link/email/invitation for just about 20 members to be able to create an account, but still prevent other people without an invitation/link from registering?

    The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Please note, user registration and account creation are handled by WordPress. The wpForo plugin only provides the registration form with a different design and URL.

    You can find some plugins for this purpose. Just make sure the plugin uses native (core) WordPress functions and hooks
