• When editing links, if the link it a long URL, the “edit” pencil gets lost and becomes unclickable.

    Also, the toolbar will sometimes cover up the link partially, making it difficult to click the “advanced” dropdown.

    Finally, I think ALL bloggers would agree that the “open in new tab” checkbox should NOT be behind an addition dropdown click. It’s way too much clicking just to make a link open in a new tab.

    For UI issues with the Gutenberg editor, I recommend raising an issue over at the project’s GitHub site. (free registration required) Please do a search first to ensure your issue has not already been raised.

    I for one don’t have an issue with all the clicks to get to “opens in new tab”. I rarely, if ever use it. Everyone knows how to navigate the internet. They can decide for themselves if they want new tab or not. I resent being sent to a new tab without prior notice. If I wanted a new tab, I can very well do that for myself. Don’t tell me how to navigate my internet experience ??
