Link does not work

    Hi Tobias,

    I would like to place a link in one of the cells.
    I tried via both the insert link and via advanced editor.
    To insert works like the normal way on other pages without table press.

    But the link does not appear on the websites. Have also tried with other cells, no success.

    Could the problem be that I am working with WP 4.2.6?
    Having to update to 4.4.1 manually is not what I am looking forward to, such avoided it so far.

    Can you please post a link to the page with the table where this problem happens, so that I can take a direct look? Thanks!

    I do indeed recommend to update, that is always the best way. And if you are afraid of updating manually, why don’t you use the automatic way, via the button in the admin area? Just make sure to have a backup of your database.

    Can I pls send the link elsewhere, as otherwise it will appear in the search engines when looking for my business, for my clients.

    I wish there was the manual update button like on all my other websites. But this one doesn′t have it. I must have missed one important updated, ignored it, and since then it is too late… Will have to do it. But not now as I need the website and can′t afford it to crash and me not finding the error or nor being able to restore it. So that has to wait until later.I am dowing backups but dont trust me importing them.

    Hi,

    sure, you can send the link via email, you can find the address in the main plugin file “tablepress.php”.

    If the button is missing, this indicates that something is not properly set with the file access rights on your server. You might want to get in touch with your webhost about this.
    Postponing the update for too long is not a good idea, obviously ??

    It is working now. So sorry for the trouble.
    I have tested it in several fields previously for half an hour, updated, but it was not visible.
    Since I had found an earlier thread that it might be the plugins I thought I better ask.

    As it is now working normally the only thing I can think of is that where I was before the refreshing did not work properly though I had checked that.

    So this is rather a thread to be deleted, sorry again. And thanks!

    And yes, I know the missing update is not good. Wasn′t on purpose. Amateur…
