Link blog to a web site

  • Hello, im new in this of blogging so i have many doubts concerning working with wordpress, data bases etc.
    So the question now is i have a site which i would like to link to a wordpress theme which has capabilities to work as cataloge and e-store, i wonder if this is possible and if so how can i do it.

    if your other side is doing an e-store , etc
    and you want wordpress to do that, its basically not going to have the same functions. from what youre saying i have a hunch of what youre trying to do but not completely sure.

    anyways i assume you want the functionality of wordpress and its blog but keeping your existing e-store. in that case my suggestion would be to stylize the look and navigation/function of both the estore and wordpress to be exactly the same. so when they go from your estore to your wordpress teh transition is flawless.

    if your other website isn’t highly developed yet, maybe you can use wordpress for everything?

    I’ve got wordpress running my blog, my e-store, and recently my forums.

    I use the e-commerce plugin for store, and simple:press for forum

    You can really get a lot accomplished from within wordpress…..once you get over the learning curve

    First of all thanks for the replies,
    The site is a commercial site and made on traditional HTML, the only thing i want to do is that when people click on the product catalog this link send them to the WP which is has application for e-commerce as well as for product catalog and there just place a button to send back to the web page from the WP
