line # translation for validation purposes

  • Hello All
    I am having a problem trying to correct the validation errors given out by the W3.org validator. For both blogs
    gary-fazenbaker.com
    meandering-pen.com
    Validator gives out a report with a list of errors and
    their line numbers. The errors appear simple enough to
    fix but when I open the page in my editor (NoteTab)
    the line numbers do not correlate to the W3.org line #’s
    So I cannot fine the errors to correct. All helpful
    comments graciously accepted.
