Preserve line breaks in textarea

    Hi,
    When I use “textarea” in my registration form the line breaks I do don’t show when I look at my profile/change profile as logged in member. The text appears correctly in Users (logged in as admin). Is it possible to change this so the text also appears correctly (with line breaks) in the member’s profile?

    Unfortunately, that is not currently possible. In order to comply with the security requirements for inclusion in the www.remarpro.com plugin repository, form fields need to be secure from hacking and code injection. Unfortunately, the current process of sanitizing the field results also strips out line breaks.

    I’m looking for a possible way around that but at present have not found anything acceptable.
