Line breaks

  • How do I add a line break in a page without WP removing it? I have tried

    and   and it removes them all. All I want is one line space between blocks of text.

  • You can try holding shift and enter for a line break.

    This normally works for me.

    Thank you. They seem to have held… for now. I had to do each line break twice before it did stay though. Looks good right now.

    This issue is driving me nuts.

    using shift + enter only shows lines breaks in only the visual editor. The actual pages don’t show any additional line breaks, and so all of my paragraphs are jumbled together and very hard to read.

    Is it possible to add line breaks (that the visual editor won’t strip out) to my posts and pages, without adding YET ANOTHER plugin?
