Limiting posts per day or author

  • If you have many authors (something more than 100 let’s say), you need to control how many posts per day you want to add to your blog (daily)!!
    You probably want to find a way to control how many posts an author can do (let’s say using the user level feature).

    Is there a way to limit posts per day?!
    Is there a way to limit authors not to post more than 1 post per week?

  • I haven’t seen such a plugin and WP is not geared to this behaviour.

    May I suggest that this is where the right to publish on the blog carries the responsibility to do as the blog owner says ?

    If you have that many authors you might want to consider either multiple blogs or a forum instead of a blog. Just a thought.
