Limiting number of Products shown?

Hi there.

We’ve been using this plugin on our website and it’s been a really useful tool for us. But on the site listed above, we’re encountering a problem where it is listing the entire catalogue of products in the carousel. we can’t set up new categories to filter because the products are being imported automatically from an external source.

This is causing the site to be significantly slowed down because the home page has to load the entire product catalogue. We’ve tried to limit the number of products shown to 12 and 6 by editing the parameter in the plugin “total products to query” but this causes an issue where the page will only load 2 of the products instead of 6 as well as messing with the way the text and buttons look.

We were hoping that we could get some help with resolving this issue and forcing the carousel to display 12 items instead of the entire catalogue
