Limited performance due to missing ISBN or GTIN

Thanks for using our plugin and reaching out to us. Unfortunately the Yoast WooCommerce plugin is not saving those values in normal WooCommerce attributes and as such our plugin can’t retrieve that data.

So, is there any hope that you can solve this problem in future and in the next updates ?

We did a closer look at how the Yoast WooCommerce SEO plugin is saving this data and it ain’t easy. This is how it is saved by them:

Our developers will have a look at it this week to see what they can make out of it but I can’t give you an ETA due to the complexity.

I have some good news for you, our developers spend a few hours on it for you to be able to support the Yoast identifiers (GTIN’s, ISBN and MPN) coming from their Yoast WooCommerce SEO plugin. With regards to your books question: Google has its own product database in which is saved all product information they have about (books) products, including if its a paperback or hardcover version. You do not need to add that information to your feed. Changes are big that when you are able to add the ISBN/GTIN’s to your feed Google knows exactly what books it concerns allowing them to map it to the correct product data and thus make it show when filters are being used in Google Shopping.

Did you make sure to manually or automatically reprocess your product feed and did you check your feed if the GTIN and MPN’s are filled in your feed? If so, make sure to also fetch and reprocess your feed in your Google Merchant Center directly.

Yes I update the feed and fetch the feed on Google Merchant Center.

Also, I set the Identifier_exist value to No and then fetch the feed on Google Merchant Center, but I saw after a few hours none of my products showing on Google Shopping !!! I waited for 6 hours but they didn’t appear !!! So I remove “No” as the value of Identifier_exist

I checked your feed and some of your products do have a GTIN or MPN in the feed, see:

So the mapping does seem to work however you probably did not fill in a MPN and GTIN for all of your products yet?

No, All of my products have ISBN or MPN and brand.

There are 8954 products in your feed, 6063 products have a MPN and 1297 products have a GTIN so it does seem like most of them do have a MPN/GTIn filled in. Only relatively few do not have a GTIN and MPN filled in.
