    Hello, first of all, I am so thankful for this plugin, because for almost 3 days, I finally found this plugin that helps me to assign maximum product that can be downloaded or purchase per user role.

    And now, I’m going straight to the point… I want to limit a user to download/purchase 5 items per day, what I could see at the plugin tab is this Custom Date range, I am so confused about this feature whether it will make this the limitation to work or it will only make the user download the given limit in a day. I set it already to Product Quantities > Custom > 1 day.

    Now I’m confused on how that feature work since I still didn’t test it.

    For clarification, I have here at least 100 digital products and a subscription plan and I want to limit a specific user role to download 5 items per day until the end of the subscription.

    In this case, I believe you would need to use Per Product Taxonomy and Formula. But, both of these features are only available in the Pro version of the plugin. As WordPress Forum Guidelines forbid us from posting about commercial products here, could you please contact us via our website?

    Thanks for following up.

    With the free version of our plugin, you can’t limit the total number of purchases per user to five or set a limit per membership plan. These can be done only using the Pro version of the plugin.

    But I can’t explain the configuration to you since those two features are only available in the Pro version of the plugin, and the WordPress Forum Guidelines restrict us from discussing commercial products here. If you contact us through our website, I will walk you through the steps.

    Can I have a clarification about this feature:

    what I could see at the plugin tab is this Custom Date range, I am so confused about this feature

    I’m still confuse on how it works and how the custom date range works what if I set it to 1 day, does it mean that the user can only download 5 products in a day only then he/she can’t download again in the next day and so on? Or what if I set it to lifetime, does it mean that the user can download anytime unless he exceed the limitation?

    If you set the Date range to 1 days, the limit will be renewed just after one day, and the user will be allowed to purchase the item again. When you select Lifetime as the Date range, the limit won’t be renewed. It means a user can’t buy more than 5 products at any time.

    P.S. With the free version of the plugin, you can only limit the number of times each product may be purchased. For example, in the Limits section, if you set the Limit per user to 5, then your users will only be able to buy a maximum of 5 of each product.
